yadā sarve pramucyante kāmā ye'sya hṛdi sthitāḥ | atha martyo'mṛto bhavatyatra brahma samaśnute
One of the most cited verses. Liberation is not 'after death' — it is in this life, when heart-desires loosen their grip. 'Atra' — 'here.'
Meaning
When all the desires settled in his heart are released — then the mortal becomes immortal; here itself he reaches Brahman.
Direct literal rendering preserving Sanskrit philosophical terminology.
Vyakhya
Science & Modern Application
शोध संदर्भResearch context · not scriptureComparative Research Noteशोध टिप्पणी
A modern parallel offered for reflection. It is not part of the scripture, and it has not been checked against the original sources it may allude to.
