yathodakaṃ śuddhe śuddhamāsiktaṃ tādṛgeva bhavati | evaṃ munervijānata ātmā bhavati gautama
Closing image of the vallī: water-into-water. The knower's individual self merges into the universal Self without residue. There is no 'two waters' afterward.
Meaning
As pure water poured into pure water becomes simply the same — so the Self of the knowing sage, O Gautama (Naciketas), becomes (one with the Self).
Direct literal rendering preserving Sanskrit philosophical terminology.
Vyakhya
Science & Modern Application
शोध संदर्भResearch context · not scriptureComparative Research Noteशोध टिप्पणी
A modern parallel offered for reflection. It is not part of the scripture, and it has not been checked against the original sources it may allude to.
