U is articulated by raising the tongue from A toward M — it is between, and it elevates. Dream is between waking (gross) and deep sleep (causal). The fruit: a refined and rising stream of knowledge, equanimity, and a lineage of seekers.
Meaning
Taijasa, the dream state, is the letter U, the second mātrā — because of exaltation (utkarṣa) and being between (ubhayatva, of both A and M). He who knows this exalts the continuity of knowledge and is equal-minded; none in his lineage will be ignorant of Brahman.
Direct literal rendering preserving Sanskrit philosophical terminology.
Vyakhya
Science & Modern Application
शोध संदर्भResearch context · not scriptureComparative Research Noteशोध टिप्पणी
A modern parallel offered for reflection. It is not part of the scripture, and it has not been checked against the original sources it may allude to.
