iha cedavedīdatha satyamasti na cedihāvedīnmahatī vinaṣṭiḥ | bhūteṣu bhūteṣu vicitya dhīrāḥ pretyāsmāllokādamṛtā bhavanti
A stern reminder: realization must happen here, in this life. If you postpone it for "later," you have already lost it. The wise recognize the one Self in every being — and that recognition is liberation.
Meaning
If one has realized it here, there is truth; if one has not realized it here, great is the loss. The wise, seeing it in being after being, depart from this world and become immortal.
Direct literal rendering preserving Sanskrit philosophical terminology.
Vyakhya
Science & Modern Application
शोध संदर्भResearch context · not scriptureComparative Research Noteशोध टिप्पणी
A modern parallel offered for reflection. It is not part of the scripture, and it has not been checked against the original sources it may allude to.
